Forgot to deactivate "smart" pitcrew in my rFactor PLR file on this fresh installation. This lead to them repairing some minor damage for 90 sec on what was supposed to be a quick splash and dash. During the 90 sec my engine overheated and subsequently failed. A bit gutted tbh, but congrats to all who finished and thanks for the good race until then! P.S.: Info about this stupid setting and how to deactivate it: www.racedepartment.com/threads/manually-controlling-vehicle-repairs.86756/

Yeah this race was extremely tough. Went from battling for the win to crawling just to get the car home and got damage from a stupid blue flag move I made which I had to pit for. Turned off my engine to save my race in the pits.
Well done to all that stuck it out and finished.

I should add that link to the Sites and Settings thread. Yeah, well done to everyone who showed up, it was a great race! I had a great qualifying setup, the only one I was really afraid of was Luka. Absolute unit of speed, let me tell you. During the race, I knew a full tank wouldn't make it ( Christian Dauger I ran a full 120 liter tank, btw) so i was at 1.0 bar or 1.2 at most - unless I had to catch up, which is when I went with 1.5. I touched Luka in the hairpin on one lap - i was caught out by the line he took and it just happened. Sorry about that! Other than that, it was a great, great fight in the Division 1 until that massive crash. Looked to me (in the mirror) like ambition got ahead of adhesion..unfortunate for Luka! Christian managed to finish the race, so it wasn't a complete disaster. Knowing what i know now about my fuel situation, though, I would've run out of fuel had it not been for losing all competition. So big big KUDOS to Luka and Christian for pushing me like that! And congratulations to Joe for winning Division 2! The fight is on!

And congratulations to Joe for winning Division 2! The fight is on! I neglected the consumption! I based on the indication in the garage, it was not enough! When I understood that, I slowed down a lot, at the moment when I was 6 seconds ahead of Pascal and luka, but it wasn't enough of course.
Then the big crash, Luka goes into the walls at the beginning of the straight and crosses the track when I arrive in full acceleration ! I end up on 3 wheels but I manage to get back to the pits! Repair : 734 seconds of stop ! it's over ! I just manage to do 1 lap at the end !
Disappointed, for once (maybe the only one ) I could finish 2nd...even if it's against division 2...

When I understood that, I slowed down a lot, at the moment when I was 6 seconds ahead of Pascal and luka, but it wasn't enough of course. Often, the consumption in-game isn't accurate if the fuel consumption wasn't calculated properly when making the track. It's always smart to do a few laps and calculate the average, or use a Plugin like GID to show your proper fuel consumption

Is the indication in the race (in the lap counter) correct (litres/laps)??

In-game, the number says, e.g. 50/18, meaning 50 liters left and the game "thinks" you can do 18 laps on it.
Again, how accurate that is depends on whether or not the person that built the track did the calculations correctly - many modders forget that!

Where can I find it ?

Where can I find it ? In the sites and settings thread there's a download link - that one doesn't work at the moment, so I'll zip up my install and send it to you!
