Race Rules
- Drivers must use the "Bridgestone Threaded Tires" upgrade on their car, as those tires were used in 2005.
- All cars are identical
- Qualifying will set the starting grid for the Feature Race
- During the Feature Race, one pit stop is mandatory with at least two tires being changed
- The results of the Feature Race will determine the Starting Grid for the Sprint Race, with the Top-8 being reversed. Please allow some time for the admins to set the grid that way.
- During the sprint race, pit stops are not mandatory, but allowed nonetheless
- Both races count fully towards a driver's points total in the Gold Star Championship. That means, if a driver wins both races, they take 50 points.
Race Start Procedure
This race will not feature a reconnaisance procedure. At the start of both races, cars will be immediately placed on the grid.
Both races will each feature a formation lap, followed by a standing start.
Behaviour on track
A few behaviour rules :
- as for all CMH races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the Discord. Thank you.
- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- If you have a spin on the course, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the track is sufficiently clear before you rejoin the race.
- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane before the start of a session.
Application and Interpretation of the Regulations
Race Control alone is qualified to solve any problems raised by the application, including interpretation of the current regulations.
