Dear Sim Racers and racing fans around the world!
The 2023 Classic Motorsport Hub season will be the third season of competition at CMH, the one and only organisation truly dedicated to the recreation of the racing of yesteryear!
The 2023 Season will again be run exclusively on rFactor, with some one-off non-championship events may be planned for Automobilista as we look into the future of this organisation.
Now, let's have a short look at the past and address the elephant in the room. The 2022 CMH Season was, to put it mildly, a big challenge to go through, and I can't say I'm incredibly proud at how some things went. Thankfully, at least one series went all the way and saw a thrilling end to its activities - meaning the good vibes aren't completely gone as we look into Season 3 of Classic Motorsport Hub competition.
Of course, what happened during the 2022 CMH Season have their consequences going forward, which is a long-winded way to say that there will be a greatly reduced program at Classic Motorsport Hub in 2023, with Season 3 not featuring a Triple Crown and only one proper championship besides the Masters Trophy. Further emphasis will be laid on attending races, as there were too many occasions where a driver would appear at an event once, score, and then not show up ever again. We want to obviously prevent that from happening, but in the end this lies in the hands of the drivers.
Alright, time to stop with glooming about the past. 2022 has taught everyone a lot, especially the administration, and the lessons learned especially from the setbacks that happened will be realized to make the 2023 season better for everyone. What's done is done and what lies ahead is an exciting season of competition!

Now, that being said, CMH Season 3 can only go better, right? Let's see...
This is also a reminder for our donations/funding campaign to all our contributors. Racing is and will always remain free at Classic Motorsport Hub, but any help you can provide to reach our target of 600 Euros which we estimate the server and Liveracers upkeep cost will be this year. Any and all help is of course, highly appreciated and also well-needed. If you think we deserve support to keep our stuff running, check the dedicated post >>>here<<<.
That all being said, let's have a look at what's planned for Season 3!
P4OW Thursdays
First thing's first... The old but gold league "Passion For Open Wheels" closed its traditional doors in 2022 and moved to CMH to continue running it's "The Challenge" races, and they will take place on Thursdays throughout the year!
Besides the "The Challenge" championship, special events like the annual "Indianapolis 100" will be held in 2023, so you should definitely check out the forum section of P4OW! The administrators of the P4OW forum section are Manuel Vasile and candelostia .

Back to proper CMH competition now...
2006 GP2 Series
The 2006 GP2 series was the second season of the rebranded #1 Formula One feeder series in the world. With names such as Sir Lewis Hamilton, Timo Glock, Mike Conway and many, many more, the field was not short of talent for sure. Adding a spec-car in the Dallara GP2/05, a powerful Mechachrome 4-Liter V8 engine and full-slick tyres will provide great racing and excitement all the way to the last lap of the last race!

2023 CMH International Masters Trophy
With Season 3 of CMH competition comes Season 3 of the "Jack of all trades" championship, the International Masters Trophy! Put your skills to the test in different types of cars, on different types of tracks. Do you have what it takes to become the 2023 Master of Classic Motorsport?
Simulation: Various mods for rFactor
Cars: All will be revealed in due time
Cars: All will be revealed in due time
Schedule: 7 events from February to October , held on Sundays
Event Length: TBA, but expect race lengths from 45 minutes up to 5 hours
1960 International 500-Mile Sweepstakes
Despite there not being a Triple Crown for 2023, for the first time under CMH sanction, there will be a 500-mile race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The 44th Indianapolis 500 was held at the end of May in 1960, the glorious winner being Jim Rathman. The race provided a record 29 lead changes, a record that would only be broken in 2012!
Here at CMH, we get the chance to revisit the time when the "Brickyard" had more than just a yard of bricks - in fact, the entire front straight was still paved with bricks until October 1961!
Racing history awaits, as these beautiful front-engined Roadsters wait for you to take on the challenge of eight-hundred left turns.

Schedule: Time Trials held on May 14, Race to be held on May 21

With all of that being shown and said, here's to hoping CMH Season 3 goes better than Season 2! Thank you to all those who joined in 2022, and we hope to see you on the track in 2023.
Additionally, we've made a little visual aid for everyone to remember the 2023 race dates - our very own CMH Calendar! Download it here!
See you there!
