CMH Rulings - Round 1 KARLSKOGA
1) Drivers involved: Halil Sahin , Jakab Richard
Both drivers have been observed going across the start/finish straight at full speed during the reconnaisance lap, despite both the rules in #reconnaisance-lap-procedure and the rules of the championship state you must go through the pits at reduced speed if you do multiple laps.
Halil Sahin receives a warning and suspended 3-place grid drop for the duration of the next two NCC races for a singular infraction in this incident.
Jakab Richard receives a three-place grid drop in NCC if he competes at CMH again for having ignored the rules for both his recon laps and having crossed the start-finish straight at full speed twice.
2) Driver involved: Owen Potter
Owen Potter receives a warning for having gone through the pit lane at full speed during his recon laps. Again, you must go through the pits at reduced speed when doing multiple recon laps.
3) Driver involved: Filippo Marazzi
Filippo Marazzi receives a warning and suspended 10-second time penalty for the duration of the next two NCC races for an unsafe re-join after a pit stop on lap 7. Edijs Batars had to avoid his car by driving on the grass.
Filippo is hereby advised to look into his mirrors and respect blue flags more when exiting the pit lane.
4) Drivers involved: Owen Potter , Edijs Batars
After the end of the race, everyone slowed down. However, Edijs Batars kept driving at full speed and caused a collision between himself and Owen Potter, which lead to Owen spinning out.
Edijs Batars receives a warning for not having realized that the race was over and having hit Owen Potter in the rear because of this.
.
GENERAL NOTE REGARDING THE CONFUSION OF THE FIRST START
Guys, read #ncc-rules and #reconnaisance-lap-procedure. It says we do a formation lap with flying start. That's how it goes. There is no standing start in these cars; the only reason we have a "standing start" set in the server is so we can do the manual formation lap.
I hope we see a cleaner start next time around in Keimola.
