Good morning/afternoon fellow sim racers!
After our first full season of competition, with highs, some lows, some issues we thankfully all resolved as a community, we're looking forward to continue existing, racing and being your place for historic sim racing!
After 2021 was mainly situated in the United Kingdom, with so many races held at the same tracks, we decided to branch out a little, running more worldwide series, or rather... simply not so much in the UK. Lord knows they run a little short on fuel currently.
Establishing our partnerships, namely with SimRace247, has made sure that Classic Motorsport Hub got on the map with a bang in its first year of its existence - let's keep going like that next year!
We listened to your feedback, reflected on our own performance as organizers and sat together to see how we can do better, make a better product for you and make sure you enjoy every second of racing at CMH, so we hope our efforts will pay off in seeing many happy faces at the end of the season.
This is also a reminder for our donations/funding campaign to all our contributors. Racing is and will always remain free at Classic Motorsport Hub, but any help you can provide to reach our target of 600 Euros which we estimate the server and Liveracers upkeep cost will be this year. Any and all help is of course, highly appreciated and also well-needed. If you think we deserve support to keep our stuff running, check the dedicated post >>>here<<<.
Either way, have a look at what we have in store for you!
1971 SCCA Trans-American Sedan Championship
Do you like big V8 pony cars racing around America's most unique tracks? If so, this series is just for you! Two dozens of five-liter pony cars, like the Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang and AMC Javelin will race in eleven events alongside smaller European cars; so if big, loud V8 power isn't quite for you, smaller and nimble European beauty should satisfy everyone.
Due to the length of each race (around 2 hours) and to the stamina these cars require, drivers will be able to team up. This series will crown two champions, one for each class.
Simulator used: Historic GT & Touring Cars 1.96 for rFactor.
Cars: Sedan cars, separated into classes TA-1 (2,500cc +) and TA-2 (up to 2,500cc)
Schedule: 11 races on Sunday nights from February to November
Race distance: Around 2 hours.

1973 B.A.R.C. "Wella For Men" Formula Ford National Championship
After one rather well-held one-off race at Silverstone, the quirky small Formula Ford cars return for a full season. A regional championship in Great Britain, this series will ask the most of the drivers as you will have to squeeze every single horsepower out of these small but fun vehicles.
As the engines in this series are equal Ford Kent engines, the only difference (albeit negligibly small) will be the chassis. Perfect for drivers looking for equal opportunities!
Simulator used: Formula Ford 1973 V7 by Dave Sabre for rFactor
Cars: Open-Wheel, spec-engine Formula cars with 100 bhp
Schedule: 13 races on Thursday nights from March to October
Race structure: One qualifying heat, two semi-final heats and one final heat, distances between 20 and 35 miles. Race length around 20 minutes.

1977 Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft
With the first mod being developed in-house by CMH covering the Golden Years of Touring Car Racing, we want to give you the opportunity to be the first ones to say "I've been there" - with dozens of turbocharged beasts being tamed on tracks throughout Central Europe, this sure will provide a massive challenge to the skill of a driver.
The mod being used is a development between CMH and the International SimRacing Organisation.
Simulator used: GTG5 1977-1978 Part 1 by CMH
Cars: Group 5 Special Production Cars divided into two classes, Division 1 (2,000cc +) and Division 2 (up to 2,000cc)
Schedule: 10 events, with Division 1 running on Saturday and Division 2 on Sunday; Events run from May to November
Race distance: Around 1 - 1.5 hours.
