General Behaviour
A few behaviour rules:
- As for all CMH races, it is required you use your real name (or reasonable alias) both in-game and on the Forum. Thank you.
- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through: If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he/she has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he/she doesn't respect this, he/she will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- If you have a spin on the course, it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the track is sufficiently clear before you re-join the race.
- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane before the start of a session. There will not be any restarts/compensation if a drivers gets punished for running the red light.
- Reckless driving and intentional wrecking is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN at all CMH races. Please respect your fellow racer on track as you would like to be respected. Any driving that breaks this rule will provoke action from the administration.
DRIVING ASSISTS ALLOWED:
- Automatic Clutch
Race-specific rules:
- All cars MUST run the "Superspeedway" car upgrade. Any car not running that upgrade at any point during the race meeting will be disqualified.
- Qualifying will consist of a two-lap, non-private shoot-out. The qualifying order will be given according to car number.
- If a situation occurs where the game judges to throw a Full-Course Yellow, it comes out immediately. Drivers are allowed to "race back to the line", meaning the order is frozen when cars cross the Start-Finish-Line.
- If you're unsure of your position, slow down and wait for rFactor to tell you where to put yourself into order. The pits are also open during the entire Full-Course-Yellow.
- When the Pace Car is about to enter the pits, the game will give a notification. Cars must be single-file on the restart. Overtaking is NOT allowed until the start-finish line if the overtake happens on the INSIDE LINE.
- Blue Flags will only serve an informational purpose. Anyone causing a crash because they lifted off too hard upon seeing a blue flag will be penalized.
Restart rules:
On restarts, all cars must be no more than two car lengths apart, and single file.
Failure to observe this rule during the race could result in a post-race penalty.
Pit Entry and Exit Procedures
During the race, cars entering the pits must fade left briefly on the backstretch to signal their intent. This rule will only apply if a car is running immediately behind the pitting car. Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.
During green flag racing, cars exiting the pits must keep all four wheels below the line until the turn 2 exit, then carefully blend into race traffic. Failure to follow this procedure could result in a post-race penalty.
